Almost exactly one year ago I answered this question.
In the last few hours I got four upvotes for my answer.
I am of course happy about them, but I am also curious: why should four users become simultaneously interested one year after the question came up?
Since it is not the first time that I notice this phenomenon, I thought someone here on meta could explain it.

A new answer was posted (13 hours ago) that bumped that question to the front page.

Ah, thanks for this prompt and perfect answer, Asaf: that must be it.

    No problem!

Other reasons may include a recent reference to the answer from another answer, or from a blog/forum/external source. But in this case it seems almost certain that the recent bump caused this.
